    Angela Thomas says:

Hi, I’m Angela Thomas and I’m researching my mother’s line of Slaughters. Her name is Emma Lois Slaughter, and she died at the age of 89 in 2008. Her father’s name was Persey Slaughter, but since he was killed in a rice factory accident in Stuttgart, Arkansas, before she was born, we never knew anything about him or his family. I found him on the 1910 census in La Grue, Arkansas. He was 29. We can’t find any records of his birth so Persey might have been a middle name. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
