Gee-gee took us all out for dinner for our 5th wedding anniversary.  We went to Capt George’s and I tried to clean out all the crab legs!  Jamesia, Lou lou, Sasha and of course Jai was there, not a crab in the house was safe!  As always Jai was the life of the party and meet some new friends from Luray VA!

5 years is a blessing now working on the next 5!  See yall in 2015!

Today, Jai received her first professional salon service at Black Butterflies.  After Miss Faith gave her a “menu” of style ideas to choose from, she finally decided on “coils”.  We were definitely proud parents as she sat at the shampoo bowl and styling chair like a Big Girl!  Daddy “freshened up” his do, too!  Miss Michelle gave him something “fresh” for his fresh start! We had a ball today at the New Hope Back to School Xplosion!  There was a full petting zoo, bounce houses and some of that good ole New Hope BBQ!  I think the petting zoo was the highlight of the day.  Some of you dont know but Jai had a bad experience on a horse where she fell.  We she conquered her fear today and rode not only one but two!  Well they were ponies but they still count!

Gee Gee and her Church buddy!  It’s the summer so I guess it was straw hat Sunday!

Well Gee-Gee is a real grandma now…she is retired.  She has taught elementary school for over 30 years.  That’s a lot of kids. She even taught  NBA player, Alonzo Morning, while he went to Chesapeake schools.

Ms Carter and friends threw Mom a party, I was the digital d.j., and with an ipod they did the electric slide and cha cha slide all night.

Jai had a “photo shoot” with Gee Gee.  They choose Hampton University as the first  location, Gee Gee and Pop’s home by the sea, and Gee’s Gee’s Garden for the second.
